Kayo F1 Deal Extends, Fans Disappointed

Formula 1 has extended its broadcasting agreement with Kayo Sports, disappointing Australian fans who wanted Apple TV to secure the rights. The deal extension comes just before the Australian Grand Prix and will continue into 2027 and beyond.

Fans have expressed disappointment with Kayo Sports' pricing ($29.99-$45.99/month), with some predicting future hikes. The Australian GP will continue to be shown for free by Network 10. Kayo recently added an F1TV commentary option after fans accused the Sky Sports UK feed of showing bias toward British driver Lando Norris.
