Report: Rockets targeting Tyus Jones

The Houston Rockets are reportedly considering veteran guard Tyus Jones as a target to bolster their backcourt for a playoff run. Nico Martinez of Fadeaway World identifies Jones as a perfect landing spot following his release from the Dallas Mavericks.

While Jones isn't a "fix-all," Fadeaway World notes he would provide the Rockets with the ball-handling and defensive stability they have lacked since the loss of Fred VanVleet. His court vision and perimeter shot-making could significantly aid Amen Thompson and the rest of the roster.
