Kings' Maya Schweikert Wins State Swim Titles

Kings High School senior Maya Schweikert defended her titles in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly at the Ohio state meet, breaking records and earning the Female Performer of the Meet award.

Kings High School senior Maya Schweikert secured her third straight state title in the 100-yard backstroke, breaking her own record with a time of 52.31 seconds. She also defended her 100-yard butterfly crown, finishing second only to her own 2024 state record.

Her performance at the Ohio High School Athletic Association meet earned her the Female Performer of the Meet award for the second consecutive year. With five career state titles, Schweikert moves into a tie for third place as the most decorated individual female swimmer in state history.
