No. 21 Miami (OH) survived a scare against Western Michigan, rallying from a halftime deficit and nine-point second-half deficit to win 69-67 despite head coach Travis Steele's technical foul before halftime.

Miami fell behind by nine points with 6:38 remaining but managed to rally for the narrow victory over Western Michigan (10-19, 4-12), maintaining their perfect record.
