Under new Sporting Director Mateu Alemany, Atletico Madrid is set to rebuild its defence after the summer signings of David Hancko, Marc Pubill and Matteo Ruggeri. The club is already looking to replace three defenders, with offers on the table for Nahuel Molina, Clement Lenglet and Jose Maria Gimenez.
The club is also tracking Palmeiras right‑back Agustin Giay, who could replace Molina. Gimenez has reportedly agreed to leave after the World Cup, while Lenglet’s game time has dropped since Hancko’s arrival.
