Wolves shock Villa with 2-0 win

Wolverhampton, last in Premier League, secured a surprising 2-0 victory over third-placed Aston Villa.

The opening goal came 15 minutes into the second half when João Gomes received a pass from Adam Armstrong and struck the ball into the net off the crossbar. Gomes added a second goal later in the match to seal the victory.

Norwegian player David Møller Wolfe remained on the bench throughout the match as Wolverhampton pulled off a major upset against one of the league's top teams.
