NRL premiership winner Chad Townsend required medical attention during a flight to Las Vegas for the NRL season opener.

The 35-year-old Cronulla Sharks star experienced a 'scary' ordeal while traveling to Sin City for Sunday's Cowboys vs Knights and Bulldogs vs Dragons matches. Townsend, who won a premiership with the Sharks, needed treatment from a doctor mid-flight.
