Colorado Buffs Staff Faces Major Turnover

Colorado Buffaloes football staff is undergoing major changes as defensive coordinator Robert Livingston departs for the Denver Broncos, adding to significant turnover that includes 77 years of lost NFL experience since March 2025.

Buffaloes have lost multiple key coaches, including offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur, with Brennan Marion and Chris Marve brought in to replace them. Marion is expected to bring more creativity with his 'Go-Go offense' while Marve, previously at Virginia Tech, has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Under Livingston, Colorado's defense improved significantly in 2024, moving from 121st to 43rd in scoring defense and from 124th to 40th in passing yards allowed per game. The Buffaloes now face the challenge of preparing an almost entirely new team with two new coordinators.
