WNBA union sends new offer with revenue sharing and housing concessions

The WNBA players' union sent a counterproposal Friday night for a new CBA, including a 26% gross revenue request and housing concessions, aiming to finalize a deal by March 10.

The proposal asks for 26% of gross revenue and a salary cap around $9.5 million, while adjusting the housing offer to require team-provided housing for players making less than 75% of the maximum salary.

League officials had previously offered more than 70% of net revenue and full housing coverage for this season, but the sides are racing to finalize a deal by March 10 to ensure the season starts on time.
