Angels rally past Mariners 7-6 in spring action

The Los Angeles Angels rallied for a three-run ninth-inning comeback to defeat the Seattle Mariners 7-6 in spring training.

Angels starter George Klassen impressed with four strikeouts, including four whiffs on his changeup, while Mariners hitters Patrick Wisdom and Rhylan Thomas hit solo home runs to take an early lead.

Seattle starter Bryan Woo struck out four over 2.1 innings but faltered in the late innings. Michael Rucker allowed inherited runners to score, and Casey Legumina surrendered a two-run homer to Jeimer Candelario. The Angels ultimately won in the ninth.
