NFL mock draft: Steelers predicted to take WR who 'wasn't wanted' by Deion Sanders
In a new mock draft from ESPN, the Pittsburgh Steelers use their No. 21 overall pick on a wide receiver who Deion Sanders didn't want after taking over at Colorado.
Bayern's stance on Olise after Liverpool interest piques again
On Monday, 2 March, it was reported by Sky Germany that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich's Michael Olise.
This is not the first time the Merseyside giants have shown interest in the French winger since joining from Crystal Palace in July 2024.
Now, according to sources at Sport BILD, the Bavarians have set the record straight regarding their intentions with the 24-year-old.
Although both parties are not in talks over a new deal, Bayern fully intend to extend Olise's contract which currently runs until 2029.
As a result, the club’s stance is clear – the midfield star will not be sold under any circumstances, at any price.
The plan is to offer him an improved long-term deal at the appropriate time, while the player himself is happy at the club and willing to wait.
The German champions are currently working on contract renewals for players requiring more immediate attention like Konrad Laimer.
Therefore, it's highly unlikely that Liverpool will sign the winger who has chipped in with 10 goals and 13 assist in 23 Bundesliga games.
Brighton vs Arsenal: Match Preview, Latest Team News and How to Watch
Brighton vs Arsenal: Premier League Title Race Faces South Coast Test
Arsenal’s Premier League charge rolls on to the south coast, where Brighton await in a fixture that carries more weight than it might first appear. With Manchester City five points behind and waiting for any slip, this is no ordinary midweek assignment. It is another examination of resolve, depth and nerve.
The Gunners arrive unbeaten in nine, buoyed by successive London derby victories over Tottenham and Chelsea. Those results have strengthened their grip on top spot, but this Premier League season has consistently punished complacency. Brighton, restored to confidence after a difficult winter, will sense opportunity.
Kick off time, TV and live stream details
Brighton vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 7.30pm GMT kick off on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The match takes place at the American Express Community Stadium, a venue that has often tested elite sides with its intensity and tactical clarity.
In the UK, the game will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 2, with coverage beginning at 7pm. Subscribers can also stream via the Discovery+ app and website.
For Arsenal, every broadcast now carries a sense of significance. Each fixture feels like a step towards something tangible. The Premier League table reflects their consistency, but it also underlines the fine margins.
Arsenal injury concerns before Brighton clash
Mikel Arteta heads to Brighton with selection questions that could shape the contest. Declan Rice remains the primary concern after hobbling off during the second half against Chelsea.

Speaking at full time, Arteta said: “Declan has to be substituted so he’s going to have to get checked and see if he’s available for Wednesday, unfortunately.”
Rice has been central to Arsenal’s balance, screening the defence and driving transitions. His potential absence would require adjustment, either tactical or personnel based.
There is also uncertainty surrounding Martin Odegaard, who missed the Chelsea match due to a knee issue. Arteta offered limited clarity. “We decided not to risk him,” he said. Whether the captain can return against Brighton remains unclear.

David Raya, who had been managing ‘niggles’, completed the full 90 minutes at the weekend and is expected to start. Ben White could also return after recovering from a knock. Mikel Merino continues his rehabilitation from foot surgery and will miss out, while Max Dowman remains sidelined with an ankle problem.
Brighton’s injury picture is comparatively stable. Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas are out with serious knee injuries that will likely rule them out for the remainder of the campaign. Yasin Ayari has returned to first team training after a shoulder issue, though his involvement remains uncertain.
These details matter. In a Premier League title race, squad availability can define destiny as much as form.
Brighton resurgence and tactical challenge
Brighton endured a grim spell between January and February, going winless in six. That sequence threatened to derail their season. Back to back victories over Brighton and Nottingham Forest have steadied them, lifting Fabian Hurzeler’s side to eleventh.

There is renewed sharpness in their play, a rediscovered edge in midfield and greater discipline in transition. Against Arsenal, they will look to compress space, disrupt rhythm and test any reshuffled midfield.
Arteta’s side have demonstrated maturity in recent weeks. They navigated a chaotic derby against Chelsea and emerged with a 2-1 win that reinforced their authority. The capacity to win in different ways has become a hallmark of this run.

Brighton will attempt to stretch Arsenal’s defensive structure, particularly if Rice is unavailable. The south coast side remain technically adept and comfortable in possession. They will not retreat.
Prediction and head to head context
Brighton are winless in their last six meetings with Arsenal. Their last victory in this fixture came in 2023, secured by goals from Julio Enciso, Pervis Estupinan and Deniz Undav.
Head to head numbers favour Arsenal.
Brighton wins: 8Arsenal wins: 18Draws: 7
Statistics, however, rarely dictate momentum. This is a different Brighton, revitalised and motivated by the opportunity to influence the Premier League title race.
Arsenal enter with confidence and purpose. Even if injuries force changes, the depth assembled by Arteta provides credible alternatives. The collective structure has held firm throughout the season.
This feels like another tight examination, shaped by tactical nuance and moments of composure.
Prediction: Arsenal to win, 2-1.
The title race rarely grants comfort. For Arsenal, Brighton represent another step in a campaign defined by resilience. Three points on the south coast would sustain momentum and reinforce belief. Anything less would reopen questions that have lingered beneath the surface all season.

Bears trade rumors: Latest on DJ Moore, Tremaine Edmunds, Maxx Crosby
The Chicago Bears are in the middle of an important offseason where they're looking to bolster the roster, most notably on defense, and free agency provides the first opportunity to do so.
Last offseason, the Bears acquired left guard Joe Thuney and right guard Jonah Jackson via trades before free agency even started. They rounded that off with the signing of center Drew Dalman in free agency to complete their overhaul of the interior offensive line. This offseason, the defensive line needs a similar overhaul, and there are options in free agency, the 2026 NFL Draft and the trade market. General manager Ryan Poles also has some work to do to free up salary cap space, which means some notable Bears could be on the move.
With trade rumors heating up, here's the latest on several key Bears players who could be on the move, as well as an update on Maxx Crosby's trade potential.
DJ Moore
There's been plenty of questions about wide receiver DJ Moore's future with the Bears next season. He's set to have a team-high $28.5 million salary cap hit, and with the team currently over the cap, they need to make moves to free up space. Trading Moore would free up $24.5 million in cap space. But, with that hefty contract, would Chicago be able to find a taker? According to Brad Biggs, the Bears could find a trade partner for Moore and get a Day 2 pick for him, should that be the route they go. But it would also likely require Chicago to pay some of the money owed Moore given that contract.
Tremaine Edmunds
The Bears have granted linebacker Tremaine Edmunds permission to seek a trade. It didn't come as a surprise given Edmunds was a strong candidate to be a salary cap casualty, which would free up $15 million in cap space. While many don't expect Chicago to find a trade partner, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler said Edmunds has "strong trade value" and a "decent chance" to be dealt. Fowler notes that the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants are among those interested.
Maxx Crosby
There's a growing belief that the Las Vegas Raiders will trade superstar pass rusher Maxx Crosby this week, and it's no surprise that the Bears are among the teams showing interest. According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Chicago is "keeping tabs" on the Crosby situation, along with several other teams. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero also believes the Bears would be a fit for Crosby. Pelissero said: "They feel like they're close, they were right there at the end in the playoffs. Could Maxx Crosby be somebody who puts them over the top and elevates that pass rush. I think that would be a fit."
Tyson Bagent
Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent has garnered plenty of trade interest given the weak quarterback market in free agency, and general manager Ryan Poles said they've gotten a few calls. Listening to Poles and head coach Ben Johnson at the NFL combine last week, it's clear Chicago doesn't want to trade Bagent. But they also understand the potential of getting significant compensation this offseason coupled with Bagent's contributions to this team as a top backup to Caleb Williams. According to Brad Biggs, the Bears would probably require a Day 2 pick for Bagent.
Gervon Dexter Sr.
One of the more surprising names mentioned in trade rumors involving the Bears is defensive tackle Gervon Dexter, who's entering the final year of his rookie contract. But Brad Biggs from the Chicago Tribune set the record straight about those Dexter trade rumors. "They're not taking (trade) calls on him. They're not making calls on him." Defensive tackle is arguably the biggest need on the Bears' roster, and they currently have just two under contract in Dexter and veteran Grady Jarrett. Chicago will be adding to the defensive tackle group, not taking away from it.
