Lewandowski And Pedri To Start | 4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Atletico Madrid

Barcelona will entertain Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp this Tuesday night as they look to secure a positive result at home in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal clash. The Catalan giants managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win over Villarreal recently, so they would be hoping to put in a similar display in midweek if they want to stand a chance of overcoming the 4-0 deficit from the first leg.

Hansi Flick will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this game. Both Robert Lewandowski and Pedri could play from the start of this cup clash.

Defence

Joan Garcia will feature in between the sticks for the Catalan giants after conceding one goal in his last outing. Eric Garcia will function alongside Pau Cubarsi at the heart of the Barcelona backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Jules Kounde will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Alejandro Balde fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half at every chance they can get.

Ronald Araujo will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Marc Bernal and Pedri will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Raphinha, Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal will play just ahead of them as part of the Barca attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Catalan outfit are to secure a good result in midweek.

Marc Casado and Dani Olmo will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Catalan giants in the final third. He has to find a way to be a constant menace up top.

Ferran Torres and Marcus Rashford will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Barca are in need of a goal by then.
