Team’s Up – Röhl names team for Glasgow Derby clash

Rangers manager Danny Röhl has named his team for this afternoon’s Glasgow Derby against Celtic. The Scottish Champions arrive in Govan as they look to push up the league table in a vital run of fixtures as the title race enters the final stages.

The Rangers team appears to be set up as a 4-4-2 with the focus on size and strength.

Rangers: Butland, Sterling, Souttar, Fernandez, Rommens, Chukwuani, Raskin, Moore, Skov Olsen, Chermiti, Naderi.

Hearts won yesterday, now all eyes are on Ibrox for the meeting between Glasgow’s big two. The German boss was beaten by Martin O’Neill in the only meeting before the Irishman gave way for Wilfried Nancy in December.

Nancy’s short stint in charge included a 3-1 defeat against Rangers at Celtic Park, in which Celtic battered the visitors in the first half but the chaotic brand of football allowed Rangers to get back into the game and leave with a win, which ended Nancy’s reign.
