It’s Bryce Miller’s turn to make his spring debut. Like his rotation-mates, Miller is a tinkerer, but he’s also pretty faithful about posting on social media, so we’ve gotten to see his off-season progression as he’s been working away, seeming to focus especially on slider shapes. Obviously we’re going to be watching to see where his velocity is after his struggles with injury last season, but with this being just his first start of the spring, it’ll be a short outing.

We’re getting the mostly A lineup today, including Brendan Donovan at leadoff:

Slated to follow Bryce are Cooper Criswell, Casey Legumina, Ryan Loutos, Robinson Ortiz, Cole Wilcox, and Domingo González. We’ll be very interested to see how Criswell follows up his splashy first spring appearance, but Ortiz and Wilcox are two other arms I’m excited to watch.

The Mariners will face the Guardians for the first time this spring. Former Mariner Matt Festa, who had his wedding this off-season at a Scottish castle with several Mariners organization-mates in attendance (including a party-down Cal Raleigh), is listed as a scheduled pitcher. Here’s their lineup:

Game time: 12:10 PT

Watch: Mariners.TV, Mariners.com

Listen: Seattle Sports 710 AM (App or Gameday only; radio broadcast is delayed until 7 PT)
