Ozona varsity hoops loses in first round after ending 13 year playoff drought

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Ozona varsity hoops reached the playoffs for the first time in 13 years and would drop their round one contest vs Bangs.

The Lions entered the bi-district matchup with the dragons with a record of 6-14, taking on a Bangs bunch entering at 17-14.

This game was a very close match throughout including multiple second half lead changes from either team, with Bangs outlasting the Lions in the Junell center when it was all said and done.
