Martin to Miss Half Season for Indiana

Defending national champion Indiana expects key running back Khobie Martin to miss approximately half the season with an arm injury sustained in Saturday's win over North Texas.

Coach Curt Cignetti confirmed Martin, who was injured in the first quarter, is expected to return around midseason, potentially in time for the Oct. 17 matchup against No. 1 Ohio State. The injury leaves Indiana with a three-man backfield rotation featuring Turbo Richard and Lee Beebe Jr., who both performed well in Martin's absence during Saturday's 52-16 victory. truewildgame.online
