USL, Players Ratify New CBA with Higher Salaries

USL and Players Association have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that raises player salaries and introduces 12-month deals, effective immediately through 2030.

The new agreement covers both the USL Championship (second division) and the upcoming USL Premier (first division launching in 2028). Championship players will see base compensation increase from $31,000 to $42,000 in 2026, with annual raises through 2030. The USL Premier will launch with 12-month contracts and a $67,500 compensation floor in 2028. amunra-online.pl

This marks the first time 12-month contracts have been codified in USL lower divisions, standardizing player commitments across the league.
