Arrow makes emotional return for Souths

Forward Jai Arrow, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) earlier this year and subsequently announced his retirement, was granted an NRL dispensation to make the appearance. The emotionally-charged return brings him to within one game of joining the 100 club for South Sydney.

Arrow will celebrate his 100th game milestone next week when the Rabbitohs face the Roosters. The forward had been on 98 appearances before his diagnosis and subsequent retirement announcement earlier this year. sport-newz.biz
