Three riders have established a breakaway in Tour de France 2026 stage two, with Alex Molenaar, Frank van den Broeck and Felix Engelhardt leading the pack.

The breakaway of Alex Molenaar (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Frank van den Broeck (Picnic PostNL) and German champion Felix Engelhardt (Jayco Alula) currently leads the 168.5km stage from Tarragona to Barcelona by 3 minutes 20 seconds. With 141km remaining in the stage, Lotto Intermarché rider Baptiste Veistroffer briefly found himself in no man's land as the peloton slowed for a 'nature break'. sport-newz.biz
