France coach Didier Deschamps has dismissed reports that Arsenal defender William Saliba's World Cup participation is in jeopardy due to back trouble.

"He is doing well. If he needed to play tomorrow, he would, but he isn't, because we need to be cautious," Deschamps stated ahead of the friendly against Ivory Coast.
