Du Plessis: Adesanya Best, Strickland/Tavares Toughest

Former UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis has revealed that Israel Adesanya was the best fighter he has faced in his career. "Adesanya was the best guy that I faced just in terms of everything he did, man. His timing, the speed, the power he kicks with, even takedown defense-wise, everything," Du Plessis told Fight Forecast.

However, when it came to toughness, Du Plessis named Sean Strickland and Brad Tavares as the toughest opponents he has faced. "The toughest guy has to be Brad Tavares or Sean Strickland. I mean, just in terms of the amount of shots they took and just kept standing," said the former champion.
