Dexter Lawrence Requests Trade From Giants

New York Giants three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade, effectively ending contract negotiations and prompting him to skip the team's offseason workout program.

Lawrence, 28, has been unable to agree on a new deal with the organization after two failed offseason talks. The 340-pound lineman will miss the start of the 2026 season under new head coach John Harbaugh.

The move leaves a significant hole in the Giants' defensive line as they prepare for their first season with Harbaugh and new coordinator Dennard Wilson.
