Bulls Fire Karnisovas, Eversley After Mediocre Run

The Chicago Bulls have dismissed executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Mark Eversley, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Bulls made the decision after the team went 224-254 under their leadership since 2020, with just one playoff appearance and now out of the postseason for the fourth straight season. Their tenure was marked by several notable trades, including acquiring Nikola Vucevic in 2020 (who was later traded to Boston for Anfernee Simons) and mishandling the Lauri Markkanen-Zach LaVine duo, with Markkanen becoming an All-Star after being traded to Cleveland.
