Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored 250/3 against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, the highest total of IPL 2026, thanks to a blistering 97-run assault in the final five overs.

Tim David smashed 70 off 25 balls and Rajat Patidar contributed 48* as the pair added 99 runs in 36 balls to power RCB to 250/3. Devdutt Padikkal also scored 50 off 29, with a 56-run stand with Phil Salt and a 58-run partnership with Patidar.
