Iowa Cubs secure fifth straight win vs. Louisville Bats

The Iowa Cubs defeated the Louisville Bats 6-2 on Tuesday, extending their winning streak to five games.

Starter Vince Velazquez earned the win after allowing just one run over five innings. Tyler Santana followed with three shutout relief innings. Offensively, third baseman James Triantos drove in two runs, while center fielder Kevin Alcántara and right fielder Chas McCormick each hit solo home runs. The victory moves the I-Cubs to 5-1 on the season.
