Jannik Sinner defeated Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-4 in the Miami Open final, completing his 'Sunshine Double' after winning Indian Wells earlier in March. The 24-year-old Italian is the first player since Roger Federer in 2017 to win both tournaments without losing a set.
Sinner served 10 aces and won his first 23 points on first serve. This was his second Miami Open title in three years, extending his winning streak in the tournament to 12 matches. Lehecka, playing in his first ATP 1000 final, had lost all three previous meetings with Sinner.
