Kings End 16-Game Skid with Win Over Grizzlies

The Sacramento Kings snapped a franchise-record 16-game losing streak with a 123-114 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, led by Russell Westbrook's 25 points and Precious Achiuwa's 22 points and 12 rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden each added 20 points for the Kings, who have the NBA's worst record. Plowden scored 10 points in the fourth quarter. Javon Smalls led Memphis with 21 points and nine assists.

The Grizzlies fought back to take the lead early in the third quarter, but the Kings answered with an 18-6 rally to build their first double-digit lead. Memphis sits in 11th place in the Western Conference and had eight players on the injured list for Monday's matchup.
