Jaguars' DB Needs Ahead of NFL Combine

The Jacksonville Jaguars have several defensive backs under contract but face potential holes at cornerback and safety heading into this year's NFL combine.

The NFL combine begins February 23, with the Jaguars needing to address defensive back needs. Cornerbacks Travis Hunter, Jarrian Jones, and Jourdan Lewis are under contract, but starting outside corner opposite Hunter remains open with Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome set for free agency. Safety is also a concern as Andrew Wingard hits the open market, though Eric Murray and Antonio Johnson return to the roster.

With 11 draft picks, the Jaguars could address these positions through the draft rather than free agency. The combine provides crucial evaluation time for prospects as teams build their draft boards and conduct player interviews.
