Dutch Legend Dick Advocaat Quits Curaçao Job for Daughter's Health

78-year-old Dutch legend Dick Advocaat has stepped down as Curaçao coach to prioritize his family amid his daughter's illness, just before the World Cup.

Advocaat stated that "family comes before football" and called the decision natural. He expressed pride in qualifying the smallest nation ever for the tournament.

Curaçao, with a population of just 156,000, will now be led by Fred Rutten. The team qualified for the World Cup for the first time.
