Purdue Rout Indiana in Historic Series Victory

Trey Kaufman-Renn scored 20 points and Braden Smith added 15 with eight assists as No. 7 Purdue routed rival Indiana 93-64, ending a two-game losing streak against the Hoosiers.

The Boilermakers produced their highest point total in the series since 1998 and largest margin since 1969. Fletcher Loyer and Omer Mayer each contributed 18 points, with Loyer going 5 of 5 from the field, including four 3-pointers.

Lamar Wilkerson scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half for Indiana, which lost its second straight to a top-10 team. Purdue took control early with an 11-4 run to build a 26-14 lead and led wire to wire throughout the contest.
