BYU sweeps Fort Valley State in dominant 3-set victory

No. 7 BYU defeated Fort Valley State 3-0 in Provo on Friday, extending their winning streak with a commanding performance at the Smith Fieldhouse.

BYU's offense was efficient, hitting .468 and committing few errors. Senior setter Tyler Herget dished out 35 assists, while outside hitters Trent Moser and Connor Oldani each finished with 12 kills.

Junior opposite Teilon-Jonathan Tufuga provided key separation with his serving, while the Cougars finished with seven aces from five different players. It marked the first meeting between the programs as Fort Valley State played its inaugural season just four years ago.
