Curry Re-Evaluated in 10 Days After Second Knee MRI

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry underwent a second MRI on his right knee, revealing no structural damage. The two-time MVP will miss at least five games before being re-evaluated in ten days.

The 37-year-old guard was diagnosed with patella-femoral pain syndrome, otherwise known as runner's knee, after the exam. Coach Steve Kerr stated the injury is merely lingering soreness.

"It’s just lingering soreness," Kerr said before a game against Boston. "We were hoping, obviously, that he’d be ready for tonight after getting the All-Star break but wasn’t the case."
