Hurley Rips UConn's Defense as 'Joke' After Loss

Dan Hurley ripped UConn's defense as 'a joke' following the Huskies' 91-84 loss to unranked Creighton on Wednesday.

Hurley was displeased with the team's defensive effort, calling it 'dreadful' and noting 'bad individual defense' throughout the game. Creighton scored 45 first-half points as UConn struggled from the tip.

Freshman Braylon Mullins led UConn with 25 points but missed part of the second half with an injury. The Huskies face a challenging schedule ahead with games against No. 2 Villanova and No. 3 St. John's in the Big East.
