Arbeloa: 'Ride together, die together' after Vini racism claim

Real Madrid's Álvaro Arbeloa reaffirmed the club's stance against racism after Vinicius Jr allegedly suffered abuse in their Champions League win against Benfica.

Vinicius Jr scored the only goal against Benfica and was later booked for his celebration. According to Kylian Mbappé, Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni pulled his shirt over his mouth and called the Brazilian forward a monkey.

Arbeloa stated there should be 'zero tolerance for racism' in football, adding, 'We ride together and die together.' Play was paused for 10 minutes after Vini Jr reported the incident. Prestianni denies the allegations, claiming the Real Madrid player 'misunderstood what he thought he heard.'
