Tyson vs Mayweather Exhibition Set for April 25

The exhibition boxing match between legends Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set for April 25 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the location and date officially confirmed.

The bout, originally planned for March and initially expected to take place in Africa, will now happen in the Congo on the specified date. Ring Magazine's Mike Coppinger first reported the news, which was later confirmed by Vice Premier Minister Mobutu Nzanga Ngbangawe via social media.

The event is described as honoring the legacy of the 'Rumble in the Jungle' 52 years later. Mayweather, 48, had been in talks for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao on Netflix, but those negotiations stalled. Tyson, 59, last fought in November 2024 against Jake Paul, while Mayweather hasn't fought professionally since 2017.
