Tennessee has officially announced Derek Jones as its new cornerbacks coach, replacing Michael Hunter who departed for the Los Angeles Rams. Jones brings 27 years of coaching experience and worked with defensive coordinator Jim Knowles at Duke. He played at Ole Miss in the mid-90s and has a track record of developing NFL cornerbacks.
The Volunteers have completely rebuilt their secondary this offseason, adding several transfer portal additions before Jones's arrival as spring practice approaches.
