Former NFL safety Dr. Myron Rolle has joined the NFL Players Association as a strategic advisor for player health.

Former NFL safety Dr. Myron Rolle, now a pediatric neurosurgeon, has been appointed as a strategic advisor to the NFL Players Association, focusing on player health, brain cognition, and preventative care. Rolle, a Rhodes Scholar at Florida State, was drafted by the Titans in 2010 and also spent time with the Steelers before pursuing medical school.

"This sport gave my family joy, discipline, and community," Rolle said in a statement. "To return now, as a physician, researcher and former player, and contribute to the wellbeing of the men who make this game what it is, feels deeply meaningful." rocore.sbs
