49ers OL Coach Calls Garrett 'All-Time Great'

49ers offensive line coach Chris Foerster has praised newly acquired Rams defensive end Myles Garrett as an 'all-time great' pass rusher following his unexpected trade from Cleveland.

Chris Foerster admitted the trade took him by surprise, prompting him to immediately start studying film of the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. "I just wanted to remind myself because it kind of came out of left field," Foerster said.

Garrett had a sack and three quarterback hits against the 49ers last season but was held to just one quarterback hit in Cleveland's 19-17 victory over San Francisco in 2023.
