The Indianapolis Colts, one of several NFL teams that have considered a private‑equity stake, have ruled out a sale for now. Irsay‑Gordon, who inherited the team with her sisters, told ESPN that the family has no intention of selling a portion of the franchise at present.
She noted that while the team’s 20‑year‑old Lucas Oil Stadium could benefit from renovations, the owners would only look to private equity if they needed additional funding. The decision could be revisited if the Colts decide to diversify their capital sources.
