Eagles Promote VanGorder to Assistant QBs Coach

The Eagles are promoting Montgomery VanGorder to assistant quarterbacks coach, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Montgomery VanGorder will join Parks Frazier in the Eagles' quarterbacks room after joining the team last season as a quality control coach. The Eagles already promoted Frazier to quarterbacks coach from passing game coordinator.

VanGorder, who played at Notre Dame from 2014-17 before finishing his career at Youngstown State in 2018, began his coaching career at Georgia in 2019. He worked as an offensive quality control coach for the Bulldogs from 2019-24 before joining Philadelphia.
