F1 to decide on Middle Eastern race return

Formula 1 must decide before its summer break whether to recover one of the postponed Middle Eastern races, with Bahrain and Saudi Arabia both potential additions to the calendar.

Both races were canceled in March amid escalating tensions following US and Israeli attacks on Iran. The ongoing hostilities have forced F1 to develop contingency plans for its season-ending events in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, with the series still hoping to add one of the Middle Eastern venues back to the schedule. tr-sport.click
