BCCI Posts Heartfelt Farewell for Coaches Ryan ten Doeschate and T Dilip

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially bid farewell to assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate and fielding coach T Dilip, acknowledging their significant contributions to Team India over the years.

In a heartfelt message posted on its social media handles, the board thanked the duo for their “dedication, professionalism and tireless efforts behind the scenes”, highlighting their “big role in the team’s journey and success”. It also added, “We wish you both success in the next chapter of your careers.”

Dilip had been part of the Indian dressing room for the past five years, working under two head coaches, Rahul Dravid and Gautam Gambhir.

Meanwhile, Subhadeep Ghosh has been appointed as the new fielding coach, and his first assignment will be the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, which commences on 15 August.

Ten Doeschate joined the set-up after India’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph and spent two years contributing to the team’s strategies and support system.

The former Netherlands international has now moved into a new role with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL as Head of Cricket Strategy. During his time with India, he was also part of a successful period that included the ICC Champions Trophy triumph in 2025 and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title earlier this year.
