What time is kick off for the Junior Springboks’ JWC final?
The Junior Springboks claimed an entertaining win over England on Monday to progress to the 2026 Junior World Championship final, where they will face France in hopes of defending their title.
It will be the first meeting in a final between the sides, with South Africa aiming to go back-to-back for the first time, and France seeking a fourth title and first since 2023.

France needed a 76th-minute winning try from centre Adrien Drault to beat New Zealand 26-22 in the first semi-final at Avchala Stadium, avenging their defeat at the same stage last year.
South Africa had trailed 17-7 after 30 minutes against England, but seized on a man advantage after a permanent red card for England flanker Seb Kelly to cut loose with winger Khuthadzo Rasivhaga claiming a hat-trick of tries in a 53-37 victory.
Junior Springboks set sights on kick off against France
The Junior Boks now turn their attention to France, who arrive in the final as Six Nations champions – a fact not lost on South Africa coach Kevin Foote.
“France have been outstanding,” he said. “Against New Zealand they worked hard, stayed in the fight right until the end and showed tremendous spirit. They’re also the Six Nations champions, so we know they’re going to be a huge challenge.
“For us, it’s about recovering well, enjoying the opportunity to spend another week together as a group, and then looking forward to the final.”
Lessons learned from hard-fought battle against England
Foote said the key message at half-time was for the team to remain calm, stick to their structures and continue building pressure.
“The bench made a massive contribution,” added Foote.
“We’ve spoken throughout the tournament about the importance of the entire squad. Some players have had to wait patiently for their opportunities, but when they come on, they make a real impact.
“We have a very talented squad with great depth, and we are fortunate to be working with a group that has that quality. When the replacements come on, they really lift the team.”

Selon plusieurs médias britanniques, Nottingham Forest a relancé son offensive pour tenter de recruter l’ailier algérien lors de ce mercato. Le club anglais suivrait le joueur depuis plusieurs mois et avait déjà manifesté son intérêt lors de la précédente fenêtre des transferts. Cette fois, les dirigeants de Nottingham Forest semblent décidés à passer à l’action afin de convaincre Feyenoord de céder son joueur. Le profil du pensionnaire des Verts correspond parfaitement aux besoins du club anglais.
Hadj-Moussa attire la Premier League
Ce dernier cherche à renforcer ses options offensives avec un élément capable d’évoluer sur les ailes et de faire la différence dans les un-contre-un. Feyenoord refuse le transfert de Zerrouki

À moins de l’arrivée d’une nouvelle proposition répondant aux exigences financières du club néerlandais, le milieu de terrain devrait poursuivre l’aventure à Rotterdam. Sous contrat avec Feyenoord, le joueur demeure lié à son club actuel et ne pourra quitter les Pays-Bas qu’en cas d’offre jugée suffisamment intéressante par ses dirigeants. Une perspective qui laisse planer de nombreuses interrogations sur la suite de son parcours. Ainsi, tandis qu’Anis Hadj-Moussa semble se rapprocher d’un prestigieux défi en Premier League, Ramiz Zerrouki voit son avenir se compliquer. Deux situations opposées qui illustrent parfaitement les incertitudes et les rebondissements permanents qui caractérisent chaque période de transferts.

New Kaizer Chiefs coach returns defender to his past position
Kaizer Chiefs may have unveiled another tactical option during their pre-season tour after Reeve Frosler featured in an unfamiliar role against Rangers FC.
Amakhosi played out a 1-1 draw in a practice match in Spain, with the 28-year-old lining up in central midfield instead of his usual right-back position.
The positional switch caught the attention of supporters, although it is far from a new role for the Gqeberha-born defender.
KAZIER CHIEFS STAR REEVE FROSLER RETURNS TO HIS ROOTS
Frosler has extensive experience in midfield dating back to his youth career, making the experiment a logical option for the technical team.
Before breaking into senior football, Frosler operated primarily as a central midfielder.
He started his development at Fairview Rovers before joining the Bidvest Wits academy in 2014. He later moved to the right wing to make use of his pace and crossing ability.
However, former coach Gavin Hunt eventually converted him into a right-back, where he established himself as one of South Africa’s most reliable full-backs.
VALUABLE SENIOR PLAYER
After progressing through the Bidvest Wits academy, Frosler won the PSL title before making a high-profile move to Kaizer Chiefs. The right-back chose not to renew his contract at Wits, sat out part of the 2018/19 season, and later joined Amakhosi on a pre-contract agreement.
Frosler quickly established himself under former coach Ernst Middendorp, becoming a regular in the starting XI. His consistency, attacking runs and quality deliveries from wide areas have helped him make more than 160 appearances for the Soweto giants.
He has also impressed with his versatility throughout his Amakhosi career. Besides playing at right-back, he has filled in as a left wing-back whenever there are no available left-backs. He was part of the team that reached the 2021 CAF Champions League final and has also lifted the Carling Black Label Cup.
Kaizer Chiefs have repeatedly rewarded his importance by extending his contract, underlining his value as one of the club’s senior players.
Last season, however, Frosler faced a major setback after suffering a serious injury towards the end of 2025. The defender spent several months on the sidelines before making his return in April 2026.
He announced his comeback in style by providing two assists after coming off the bench in a 4-1 win over Magesi FC. Frosler then finished the campaign strongly, helping Amakhosi close out the season with renewed defensive stability.

L’entraîneur Cesar Peixoto s’est réjoui de cette arrivée, mettant en avant la vitesse, la puissance et les qualités techniques du joueur comorien. «Rafiki est un joueur rapide, avec de grandes qualités dans les duels. Il possède la mentalité que je recherche pour l’équipe», a expliqué le technicien.
