Emmanuel Mbemba quitte le PSG pour lancer sa carrière professionnelle au Paris FC
Le Paris FC poursuit sa politique axée sur la formation et la jeunesse. Le club de la capitale a officialisé ce vendredi l’arrivée du défenseur Emmanuel Mbemba, en provenance du Paris Saint-Germain. Un défenseur francilien formé en Île-de-France
Né à Melun, Emmanuel Mbemba a effectué l’essentiel de sa formation en Île-de-France. Après avoir débuté à l’ES Nangis, le défenseur a rejoint le FC Melun avant d’intégrer le centre de formation du Paris Saint-Germain.
Chez les Rouge et Bleu, il s’est rapidement distingué par la qualité de ses prestations. Ses performances lui ont ouvert les portes des sélections de jeunes de l’équipe de France, des U16 jusqu’aux U19. À 19 ans, il rejoint donc le Paris FC avec déjà une solide expérience au niveau international chez les jeunes.
Un profil moderne pour le projet parisien
Le Paris FC se félicite de l’arrivée d’un jeune talent qui a choisi de s’inscrire dans la durée avec le club.

Un premier contrat professionnel pour franchir un nouveau cap
Avec cette arrivée, Emmanuel Mbemba signe son premier contrat professionnel et s’engage avec le Paris FC jusqu’en 2030. Convaincu d’avoir trouvé un environnement propice à son développement, le jeune défenseur souhaite désormais franchir un nouveau cap dans sa carrière.
Le Paris FC lui souhaite la bienvenue sous ses nouvelles couleurs et espère l’accompagner dans sa progression afin de lui permettre de s’imposer durablement au plus haut niveau.

Former Orlando Pirates coach joining African giants
According to Ghanaian broadcast journalist Eben K, Asante Kotoko are set to appoint the experienced South African as their new head coach ahead of the new season. The move would see Tinkler return to continental football with one of Africa’s most successful clubs.
The 54-year-old has been without a club since leaving Sekhukhune United in April 2026 after a 13-month spell. During his time at Babina Noko, he guided the side into the race for a top-three finish in the Betway Premiership and also led them deep into domestic cup competitions.
ERIC TINKLER TO ASANTE KOTOKO
The reported appointment comes as Asante Kotoko look to revive their fortunes after enduring inconsistent seasons despite their rich history and massive support across Ghana.
“Asante Kotoko are set to appoint South African coach Eric Tinkler as the club’s new head coach. Eric Tinkler previously managed Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Cape Town City, and Sekhukhune United,” Ghanian broadcaster Eben K reported.
The Bafana Bafana legend’s coaching journey began as Roger de Sa’s assistant at Wits University before he stepped into the spotlight at Orlando Pirates.
He first took charge as caretaker coach in late 2013 following De Sa’s departure before earning the role permanently in 2015. During his spell with the Buccaneers, he guided the Soweto giants to the finals of both the CAF Confederation Cup and the Nedbank Cup, cementing his reputation as a coach who thrives under pressure.
His impressive work at Pirates earned him the opportunity to become the first-ever head coach of Cape Town City following the club’s formation in 2016.
TROPHY-WINNING RECORD
Tinkler enjoyed immediate success by leading Cape Town City to the Telkom Knockout title in their debut season before moving to SuperSport United in 2017, where he lifted the MTN8 trophy.
He later coached Chippa United and Maritzburg United, helping the latter complete a remarkable escape from relegation.
Tinkler returned to Cape Town City in 2021 for a second spell that lasted more than three years. During that period, he consistently guided the club to top-five finishes before both parties agreed to part ways in December 2024.
He returned to management with Sekhukhune United in early 2025 before leaving the Limpopo outfit in April this year.
Mashego targets fresh start with ambitious Stellies
Terrence Mashego is determined to revive his career after sealing a season-long loan move from Mamelodi Sundowns to Stellenbosch FC.
Mashego returns to the Cape
The Bafana Bafana international has returned to familiar surroundings in the Western Cape, where he first established himself as one of the country’s finest full-backs during his spell at Cape Town City.
After joining Sundowns in 2022, Mashego helped the Tshwane giants win three Betway Premiership titles before slipping down the pecking order.
His move to Stellenbosch marks his second successive loan spell after spending last season at Durban City. The 30-year-old believes a return to the coast could provide the ideal platform to rediscover his best form.
“I’m starting to think that I belong on the coast because I always do well when I’m in the coastal areas,” Mashego said to the Stellies media team.
“I had a great time playing in Cape Town, and the people in the Western Cape love football, so I want to pick up where I left off, play regularly, and help the team.
“I can’t wait to get on the pitch, fight for the badge and my teammates, and play in front of our fans. Hopefully, I can make them happy.”
Mashego will also be reunited with coach Gavin Hunt, having worked under the veteran mentor during his loan spell at City last season.
The experienced defender believes Hunt has assembled a balanced squad capable of challenging for honours in the 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign.
‘I am delighted’
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to play for Stellenbosch FC,” Mashego added.
“It’s a professional club, with a great culture, and has, over the years, produced a lot of good players. We have good players here now too, a mix of talented youngsters.
“And experienced players, so we have a good squad. I believe we have a team that can compete, and that’s what we’re going to do this season.”
Mashego is one of several notable arrivals at Stellenbosch ahead of the new campaign. The Cape Winelands club has also strengthened its squad with the signings of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Matlou, ex-Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Lebitso.
Sinoxolo Kwayiba has also joined from Chippa United, while former Richards Bay captain Tlakusani Mthethwa has penned a long-term contract with the club.
New Gor hitman outlines trophy targets with Premier League giants
NAIROBI, Kenya, July 16, 2026 – New Gor Mahia signing Hansel Ochieng’ has said his minimal target is to win a league title with the club.
Ochieng’ hopes to become a Premier League winner come the end of the 2026/27 season, in addition to reaching the latter stages of the Confederations of Africa Football (Caf) Champions League.
“I think it is a special feeling…a good feeling. Any club player should be happy to be part of this team. First, I’d want for us to defend the Premier League title and secondly, go as far as possible in the Caf Champions League,” the striker said.
The immediate former APS Bomet hitman inked a two-year deal with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League champions on Wednesday after a season with the topflight newbies.
Ochieng’, who has also plied his trade for AFC Leopards, Kakamega Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars, has long been linked with a move to K’Ogalo since the culmination of the 2025/26 season.
The forward has promised to repay the faith of the club’s management with virtuoso performances on the pitch.
“I think the best way to show appreciation is just by performing,” he said.
Ochieng’ is a name that will be all-too familiar to the Green Army, following last season’s star-studded show against Charles Akonnor’s charges in November last year.
On that occasion, he scored a hattrick as the law enforcers clobbered Sirkal 4-1 at the Nyayo Stadium.
He will get his chance to win them over and erase their bitter memories of him at the upcoming Cecafa Club Championships in Rwanda on July 24.
K’Ogalo are in Group A where they play Rwanda’s APR, Uganda’s Vipers SC and Garde Republicaine of Burundi.
