Robot smadret Bolts verdensrekord på 100 meter – brukte 8,64 sekunder
Usain Bolt regnes som tidenes raskeste mann og har verdensrekorden på 100 meter. I Robot Olympics gikk det enda raskere da den lynraske roboten Tiangong Ultra løp på 8,64.
Roboten hadde også tidligere i mesterskapet satt en umenneskelig rekord både i forsøksheatet og i semifinalen, men i onsdagens finale kom det aller raskeste løpet.
Tiangong Ultra har gjort voldsomme framskritt siden de samme lekene for ett år siden. Da vant roboten finalen på hele 21,50.
Bolts vinnertid på 9,58 fra VM i friidrett i Berlin i 2009 står fortsatt som verdensrekord for mennesker. (NTB)
