سلطت اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث الضوء على إرث برنامج قطر للتطوع من خلال مشاركتها في بيت قطر، ضمن فعاليات دورة الألعاب الآسيوية 2026، التي أقيمت في آيتشي–ناغويا باليابان خلال الفترة من 19 سبتمبر إلى 4 أكتوبر.

وشارك ضمن وفد اللجنة العليا في بيت قطر عدد من المتطوعين الذين أسهموا في تنظيم أحداث رياضية كبرى، من بينها كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™، وكأس آسيا AFC قطر 2023™، والموسم الكروي الاستثنائي الذي استضافته قطر عام 2025. ويُعد بيت قطر مبادرة أطلقتها اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية، أتاحت للزوار فرصة التعرف على التراث القطري والإنجازات الرياضية للدولة من خلال تجربة تفاعلية مميزة. ومع استعداد قطر لاستضافة المزيد من الأحداث الكبرى، سيواصل برنامج قطر للتطوع الاضطلاع بدور محوري في تقديم تجارب عالمية المستوى.

وأكدت هيا النعيمي، المدير التنفيذي لإدارة القوى العاملة والمتطوعين للفعاليات في اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث، أن الإرث الرياضي لدولة قطر أسهم في ترسيخ ثقافة العمل التطوعي في المجتمع، وانعكس إيجابًا على تجارب المشجعين، وقالت: حرصنا من خلال مشاركة متطوعينا في بيت قطر على إبراز العمل التطوعي بوصفه ثقافة راسخة في المجتمع القطري، وإرثًا مستدامًا يمتد أثره إلى ما بعد إسدال الستار على أي فعالية. ونأمل أن تلهم قصصهم وتجاربهم المزيد من الأفراد للانخراط في العمل التطوعي والمشاركة في الفعاليات المقبلة، والانضمام إلى مجتمع المتطوعين المتنامي الذي نجحنا في بنائه.

وأضافت: يتمثل إرثنا الأهم في بناء مجتمع متين من المتطوعين ذوي الخبرة والشغف والموهبة، الذين يسهمون بفاعلية في تعزيز إرث قطر في استضافة الفعاليات الكبرى. وتسهم خبراتهم في تعزيز قدرات الدولة وجاهزيتها لمواصلة استضافة كبرى الأحداث الإقليمية والدولية.

ومن جانبه، استعاد المتطوع القطري علي الخاطر، الذي يعمل في قطاع النفط والغاز، خلال مشاركته في بيت قطر، أبرز تجاربه وذكرياته من عمله متطوعًا في مجال علاقات الضيوف خلال كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™، وقال: أتاحت لي المشاركة في العمل التطوعي خلال مونديال قطر 2022 فرصة لاكتشاف كيف يمكن لأشخاص من ثقافات مختلفة أن يتحدوا ضمن فريق واحد لتحقيق هدف مشترك، وهذه من أجمل القيم التي تجسدها الرياضة. وشعرت بفخر كبير بلقاء المشجعين اليابانيين هنا في آيتشي–ناغويا، واستعادة ذكريات النسخة التاريخية من كأس العالم، وإبراز شغفنا بالرياضة وتنظيم بطولات عالمية المستوى.

بدورها، ترى المتطوعة القطرية لولوة بو كربل، الطالبة في تخصص الهندسة المعمارية، أن كل تجربة تطوعية تفتح آفاقًا جديدة للتبادل الثقافي. وبفضل إجادتها للغة الكورية،

شاركت مترجمةً للمنتخب الكوري الجنوبي خلال كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™، حيث أسهمت في تعريف اللاعبين والمشجعين بثقافة قطر وتراثها.

وقالت: تمثل فعاليات مثل كأس العالم ودورة الألعاب الآسيوية احتفاءً بالتنوع الثقافي، إذ يسهم لقاء أشخاص جدد والتعرف على ثقافاتهم في تجاوز الصور النمطية. ويمنحني العمل التطوعي فرصة مشاركة الآخرين شغفي بتاريخ قطر وتراثها العريق. وكانت زيارتي لليابان حلمًا تحقق، حيث أتيحت لي فرصة التواصل مع المجتمع المحلي وتعريفه بما تزخر به بلادي من مقومات ثقافية وتراثية مميزة.

وبالنسبة لمتطوعين آخرين، مثل كاتسوكو سوزوكي، شكلت المشاركة في إحدى الفعاليات بداية لمسيرة طويلة من العطاء في مجال العمل التطوعي. فقد شاركت المتطوعة اليابانية المقيمة في قطر، والمعروفة بشغفها الكبير بكرة القدم، في عدد من البطولات، من بينها كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™، وكأس آسيا AFC قطر 2023™، وكأس العالم تحت 17 سنة FIFA قطر 2025™، ما عزز ارتباطها بكرة القدم العالمية ورسخ شغفها بالمشاركة في الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى.

وقالت سوزوكي: أتاح لي العمل التطوعي التعرف عن قرب على حجم الجهود الهائلة التي تقف وراء تنظيم البطولات الكروية. ويملؤني الفخر وأنا أشاهد المنتخبات والمشجعين من مختلف أنحاء العالم يجتمعون في قطر للاحتفاء بكرة القدم، في البلد الذي أعتبره وطني منذ 18 عامًا.

وأضافت: بصفتي يابانية مقيمة في قطر، يسعدني دائمًا مشاركة الآخرين قصصًا وتجارب عن وطني الثاني. ورغم اختلاف ثقافتينا، فإننا نتشارك قيم الضيافة والاعتزاز بالتراث وحب كرة القدم. وآمل أن تلهم تجربتي المزيد من اليابانيين لزيارة قطر واكتشاف تقاليدها وثقافتها.

وشهدت بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™ مشاركة أكثر من 20 ألف متطوع أسهموا في نجاح نسخة استثنائية من البطولة. ومنذ ذلك الحين، واصلت قطر استضافة العديد من البطولات الكبرى، مستندةً إلى إرث العمل التطوعي وروح المشاركة المجتمعية، اللذين يجمعان أفرادًا من مختلف الخلفيات والقدرات للمساهمة في دعم شتى المجالات التشغيلية للفعاليات.

وفي عام 2025، أسهم نحو 4 آلاف متطوع في تنظيم موسم كروي استثنائي شهد استضافة قطر ثلاث بطولات نهائية تابعة للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (FIFA) خلال ثلاثة أسابيع، شملت كأس العالم تحت 17 سنة FIFA قطر 2025™، وكأس العرب FIFA قطر 2025™، وكأس القارات للأندية FIFA قطر 2025™، إلى جانب بطولتي كأس الخليج تحت 17 سنة وتحت 23 سنة.

وتستعد قطر هذا العام لاستضافة كأس العالم تحت 17 سنة FIFA قطر 2026™، المقررة خلال الفترة من 19 نوفمبر إلى 13 ديسمبر، حيث سيجري اختيار 750 متطوعًا للمساهمة في تنظيم البطولة ضمن تسعة مجالات تشغيلية.

كما تشمل قائمة الأحداث الدولية المرتقبة التي تستضيفها الدولة كأس العالم لكرة السلة 2027، وكأس العرب FIFA قطر 2029™، وبطولة العالم للكرة الطائرة 2029، ودورةالألعاب الآسيوية 2030، إلى جانب العديد من الفعاليات الثقافية والترفيهية الكبرى، التي ستشهد مشاركة فاعلة من مجتمع المتطوعين المتنامي في قطر.

The clash on a converted baseball field in Japan was new ground for even these bitter enemies and their hundreds of millions of fans who were watching back home on TV.

After India chose to bat, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi announced his intention with back-to-back sixes in a second over from Saad Masood that cost 24 runs.

But the 15-year-old batting sensation fell four balls later for 15.

His opening partner Abhishek reached his fifty off 20 balls to a massive ovation from fans that had brought a touch of South Asia cricket fever to the Far East and Korogi Park Athletic Stadium.

India were aided by some sloppy Pakistan fielding that saw Abhishek dropped twice.

He should also have been run out on 46 when bowler Ahmed Daniyal's throw missed both stumps and wicketkeeper with Abhishek stranded.

After he went for 61, Ishan Kishan fell for 20 as the Pakistan bowlers began to regain control.

When captain Shreyas Iyer also departed soon after for 21, India had been pegged back to 133-5 in the 15th over.

But Tilak Varma hit four sixes and Shivam Dube (27) two more as the pair unleashed a late onslaught, putting on 62 in five overs for the sixth wicket as India soared past 200.

Pakistan's previous best score in T20 internationals batting second was 208-3 against Sri Lanka in Pallekele and they made a good start in search of their record chase.

Sahibzada Farhan (10) and Maaz Sadaqat put on 33 for the first wicket in 3.4 overs.

When Sadaqat went for 23 it seemed that they might fold easily.

Hasan had other ideas, and he began to pick up the pace and bounce of the pitch as he raced to a fifty off 28 balls with five sixes.

He was supported by Saim Ayub and their partnership grew to 87 before Dube struck.

He induced Ayub into a false shot with Washington Sundar gratefully grasping the chance running in from square leg to leave Pakistan 126-4 at the start of the 15th over.

Hasan ploughed on and Pakistan needed 52 off the last three overs when Sundar got Abdul Samad to hit to long-on.

At 168-5 with two overs left, India brought back Jasprit Bumrah and his over cost only 11 runs, leaving an improbable 33 off the final over, bowled by Dube.

Hasan reached 96 and fell off the last ball attempting one last big shot.

His brilliant knock came off 51 deliveries, with seven sixes and five fours.

Sri Lanka took the bronze medal after beating Bangladesh by 63 runs in the third-place playoff.

وأعلنت رابطة الدوري الإنكليزي يوم الثلاثاء أن سيتي استخدم عقود رعاية “صورية” ضمن ترتيبات هدفت إلى تضخيم الإيرادات وخفض التكاليف بأكثر من 900 مليون جنيه إسترليني (1.19 مليار دولار) على مدى ما يقرب من عقد من الزمن.

وأدين النادي بجميع التهم المتعلقة بانتهاكات القواعد المالية للدوري على مدار تسعة مواسم من 2009-2010 إلى 2017-2018، بالإضافة إلى ثلاث من أصل أربع تهم تتعلق بعدم التعاون مع التحقيق.

ونفى النادي ارتكاب أي مخالفات طوال فترة الإجراءات.

وقال النادي في بيان “يؤكد مانشستر أنه في تمام الساعة السابعة يوم الخميس أول أكتوبر 2026، تقدم النادي باستئناف شامل ضد قرار اللجنة المستقلة التابعة للدوري الإنكليزي الممتاز، فيما يتعلق بالمسألة التأديبية المتعلقة بالدوري”.

وأضاف “موقف النادي الثابت هو أن القرار، لأسباب متعددة، يتضمن أخطاء جوهرية واضحة، من حيث القانون والمبادئ والوقائع، وهو غير سليم”.

وتابع “النادي بريء من التهم التي وجهها له الدوري الإنكليزي الممتاز، وهناك مجموعة كبيرة من الأدلة الدامغة التي تدعم جميع مواقفه في هذه القضية”.

وسيتم البت في الاستئناف من قبل لجنة استئناف مستقلة مكونة من ثلاثة أعضاء يعينهم رئيس اللجنة القضائية للدوري.

وقالت رابطة الدوري الإنكليزي في بيان “قدم النادي الاستئناف إلى رئيس اللجنة القضائية. ستظل جلسة الاستماع أمام لجنة الاستئناف المستقلة سرية حتى يُسمح بنشر النتيجة”.

وتنص لوائح الدوري الإنكليزي الممتاز على أن تعقد جلسة الاستئناف في غضون 12 أسبوعا من تاريخ تقديم الاستئناف، على أن يصدر القرار في غضون 30 يوما من انتهاء الجلسة.

وستكون جلسة الاستئناف سرية، كما كان الحال في الجلسات الأصلية. وستقوم لجنة الاستئناف بمراجعة قرار اللجنة القضائية المستقلة، لكنها لن تعيد النظر في القضية بالكامل.

ويمكن للجنة رفض الاستئناف، أو قبوله، أو إحالة القضية مرة أخرى إلى اللجنة المستقلة للنظر فيها مرة أخرى، أو تعديل أي عقوبة أو أمر تعويض تم فرضه.

ويعتبر قرار لجنة الاستئناف نهائيا ولا يمكن الطعن فيه إلا في حالات محدودة تسمح بإجراء عملية تحكيم لاحقة.

ونظرا لأن العقوبات المحتملة تشمل غرامات باهظة، وخصم نقاط، وعقوبات رياضية أخرى، فضلا عن مناقشة الهبوط أو سحب الألقاب كنتائج محتملة، فقد يكون لهذه القضية تداعيات على مستوى الدوري بأكمله.

كما يمكن أن يطعن سيتي بشكل منفصل في أي عقوبات.

ولا يزال من غير الواضح ما إذا كانت العقوبات ستعلن قبل النظر في الاستئناف، وما إذا كانت ستدخل حيز التنفيذ على الفور.

Beijing: Big-serving Alexander Zverev trounced home hopeful Shang Juncheng 6-0, 6-3 at the China Open on Saturday to set up a quarter-final clash with Novak Djokovic in Beijing.

The German top seed needed just 55 minutes to brush aside the Chinese wildcard, ranked 250th, firing nine aces along the way.

"Happy with the win," the world's second-ranked player said, adding that his 21-year-old opponent had been "dangerous" and had "nothing to lose".

"Looking forward to the next couple of weeks," he said ahead of his tie with Djokovic -- who has never lost a match in Beijing -- on Sunday.

Zverev's cruise into the next round comes as he trains his sights on the number-one spot currently held by Jannik Sinner.

The Italian won in Beijing last year but is not there this time around, and said on Saturday that he would not play at next week's Shanghai Masters either.

He did not give a reason for his latest withdrawal, but has not played since his Wimbledon title in July due to a right knee injury.

Also in the men's draw, third seed Daniil Medvedev eased into the quarter-finals with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff.

Alex de Minaur, seeded fifth, and Andrey Rublev both needed three sets to advance and will play each other in the last eight.

Stop shouting

Earlier, Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen rebuked rowdy fans at her home tournament before opponent Anna Kalinskaya retired with injury to give the Chinese player a 6-7 (4/7), 6-4, 3-0 victory.

During a tight first-set tie-break, Zheng -- a beloved figure in her home country -- twice was heard telling spectators to "stop shouting" as she stepped up to serve.

"I thought the first set in particular was really difficult," Zheng told the crowd in an on-court interview after the two-hour-and-22-minute match.

"Indeed, seeing some movement in the audience, my emotions were not very stable," the 23-year-old added.

But she declared: "It's my problem, it's my problem," and vowed to adjust.

Chants for Zheng rang through the wind-rattled stadium before most points, with fans occasionally yelling at each other to quieten down.

The umpire also stepped in to warn people to stop moving around in the stands during play.

After levelling in the second set, the world number 54 was handed a lifeline when Russia's Kalinskaya retired three games down in the third due to injury.

Gauff digs deep

In the women's draw, Coco Gauff kept her composure to beat Camila Osorio 7-6 (7/4), 4-6, 6-2, overcoming shaky serving to survive the second round.

The Colombian, ranked 66th, put up a formidable fight after double-faulting to lose a testy first-set tie-break, though she needed medicine to push through trouble with her back.

Osorio saved two match points but Gauff, the world number four, dug deep, rescuing long rallies with a solid backhand and cross-court saves.

"It was tough, it wasn't the cleanest," said the 22-year-old American after the two-hour-and-18-minute match.

"Just happy with how I was able to reset," she said.

She next faces Chinese teenager Sun Xinran, world number 582, who beat Spain's Cristina Bucsa 6-4, 7-5.

Sixth-seeded Elina Svitolina and former champion Iga Swiatek, seeded eighth, also went through on Saturday.

World number one Elena Rybakina is playing Armenia's 118th-ranked Alina Charaeva in the evening session.

Motegi, Japan: Spain's Alex Marquez set a new lap record at the Japan MotoGP Friday in a practice session dominated by the Ducati-Gresini rider in only his second season at the top level.

Marquez flew around the dry Motegi circuit in 1 minute 42.81 seconds, ahead of second-fastest Pedro Acosta, with KTM, who trailed by 0.076 seconds.

Reigning world champion Marc Marquez, Alex's brother, clocked the third-fastest time for Ducati Leonovo as he chases season leader Jorge Martin, who settled for eighth.

Martin holds a 12-point lead over Marc Marquez with seven rounds remaining -- including Sunday's race.

Local favorite Ai Ogura of Aprilia-Trackhouse finished 15th fastest in practice, but his bike spewed thick white smoke and spilled oil, triggering a red flag and causing the session to be temporarily suspended.

Japanese wild card Takaaki Nakagami on Honda was ruled out of the remainder of the weekend after crashing only minutes into the morning free practice and fracturing his collarbone.
