مونديال 2026: فرنسا والنرويج تتأهلان للدور 32 وخروج العراق بخسارة ثالثة تواليا 0 – 5 أمام السنغال

فعلى استاد بوسطن في ماساتشوسيت واصلت فرنسا عروضها القوية وحققت فوزها الثالث على التوالي بالبطولة والذي جاء على حساب النرويج برباعية مقابل هدف واحد وتألق المهاجم الفرنسي عثمان ديمبيلي بتسجيله ثلاثية هاتريك بالدقائق 7 و 20 و 32 وأضاف زميله دوي الهدف الرابع بالدقيقة 94+ فيما سجل هدف النرويج الوحيد اسغارد بالدقيقة 21.
وفي المباراة الثانية تغلب منتخب السنغال على نظيره العراقي بخماسية نظيفة وافتتح حبيب ديارا أهداف السنغال بالدقيقة الرابعة وأضاف اسماعيليا سار الهدف الثاني بالدقيقة 56 وسجل بيبي غاي هدفين بالدقائق 59 و71 وختم ندياي خماسية السنغاليين بالدقيقة 82.
وبهذه النتائج ضمنت كل من فرنسا والنرويج العبور إلى الدور 32 إذ رفعت فرنسا رصيدها إلى (9 نقاط) بصدارة المجموعة وحلت النرويج بالمركز الثاني (6 نقاط) فيما جاءت السنغال بالمركز الثالث (3 نقاط) والعراق أخيرا بدون أي نقطة.

Nantes Plan Further Sanctions Against Mostafa Mohamed
Nantes reportedly plan to demote Mostafa Mohamed to the reserves, as the club has already withheld his salary during his prolonged absence.
The Egypt striker has missed every training session since Nantes resumed preparations on June 24.
The club had lost patience with the 28-year-old, according to L’Équipe. Nantes have tried to contact him by telephone and text message, but he only responds intermittently.
“We don’t know where he is,” Nantes coach Michel Der Zakarian said. “We call him, sometimes he doesn’t answer.”
Der Zakarian blamed Mostafa Mohamed for the absence and confirmed that Nantes had stopped paying him. The club also sends the striker a daily letter explaining the salary deduction.
Nantes could assign Mohamed to their reserve team, which competes in National 2. The club may also impose further disciplinary measures.
The striker remains under contract until June 2027, and Nantes have not received an offer for him, nor do they intend to release him without a transfer fee.
The French club paid Galatasaray around €6.5 million for Mohamed in 2023. He had initially joined Nantes on loan one year earlier.
Nantes have not set a reported minimum asking price. His contract has only one year remaining, which limits the club’s negotiating position.
The dispute began after Nantes suffered relegation from Ligue 1 last season, as contract reportedly includes a clause that cuts his wages if Nantes drop into the second division.
The former Zamalek striker endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign. He scored four goals across 24 Ligue 1 appearances as Nantes went down.
Egypt coach Hossam Hassan then omitted Mohamed from his World Cup squad. The Pharaohs instead selected 18-year-old Hamza Abdelkarim alongside Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush.
The striker has scored 29 goals in 136 appearances for Nantes across all competitions. He has also registered 14 goals in 61 matches for Egypt.

Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch postponed indefinitely
Manila: A highly anticipated rematch between boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has been postponed indefinitely, Pacquiao's camp in the Philippines said on Friday.
The news followed ESPN reporting that a planned Mayweather exhibition in Greece had been called off after an events company connected to the Pacquiao bout had sought an injunction.
The two hall of famers, whose 2015 bout drove 4.6 million pay-per-view buys, have been at loggerheads since Mayweather stunned the boxing world by declaring a rematch announced by Netflix for September would only be an exhibition -- something bitterly contested by Pacquiao.
On Friday, the Pacquiao camp released a statement blaming the postponement on "a volatile mix of federal lawsuits, scheduling overbooks, and financial gridlock completely surrounding the Mayweather camp".
Events company CSI sued Mayweather last week seeking to recover at least $4.65 million the company says it paid the fighter for exclusive rights to promote the Pacquiao rematch and an exhibition bout with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson that failed to materialise.
Friday's statement said the earliest a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight could now take place would be early 2027.
"Should Mayweather and CSI settle their internal contract disputes out of court, promoters will immediately pivot to rescheduling a postponed exhibition between Mayweather and Mike Tyson, tentatively targeting September 12," the Pacquiao team statement said.
Mayweather, 49, retired from boxing in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record.
Argentina set to extend dominant World Cup campaign against Jordan
DOHA: Argentina conclude their FIFA World Cup 2026 group-stage campaign against Jordan with the two nations heading into the match with contrasting objectives.
The reigning world champions have already secured a place in the Round of 32 and sealed top spot in the group after consecutive victories over Algeria and Austria. Jordan, meanwhile, have been eliminated after defeats in their opening two matches.
