Nebraska basketball took care of Penn State on Saturday afternoon, winning 87-64. This was a game in which Pryce Sandfort put on a show, scoring a career-high 33 points off a school record eight 3-pointers.
Brenden Frager added 15 points and six rebounds while senior Sam Hoiberg recorded his first career double-double, 11 points and 10 assists (career high).
Jamarques Lawrence had nine points but left the game with an injury and didn't return. Fred Hoiberg said that he's dealing with an ankle injury.
The Huskers will host Maryland at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday evening. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT and can be seen on BTN.
