NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Freshman guard Kevair Kennedy scored 32 points and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference-leading Merrimack outlasted the Siena men's basketball team 79-72 in overtime on Friday night at Lawler Arena.

Kennedy shot 16-for-16 from the foul line, including two free throws with 26 seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 66. Siena's Brendan Coyle missed a 3-pointer from the left wing for the win as time expired.

Siena senior guard Justice Shoats played only 11 minutes before fouling out with 10:10 remaining. He finished with four points.
