The WBC has always been the most fashionable of the sanctioning bodies, going to great lengths to create all different types of world titles belts handmade from exotics materials, etc. over the years, and now the organization has graduated from belts to diamond chains and pendants. The WBC just announced the creation of The Crown Series, a chain and pendant comprised of 18.9 carats of emeralds and diamonds, to be awarded to WBC world champions in designated main event fights.

The WBC say this new prize is designed for its champions to be able to take their championship trinkets and accomplishments beyond the ring, in a way only Avianne, Eliantte, or TraxNYC could truly appreciate. And with an estimated retail value of $4o,000, it’s clear why paying your sanctioning fees is of the utmost importance.

As of now the organization hasn’t mentioned which event will be the first designated one to earn this new set, but we eagerly await the press release.
